Pavlos Stellakis
Chairman & CEO, Pavlos has broad corporate experience in both the UK and Continental Europe, with over twenty five years involvement in Investment Banking, Private Equity and Consultancy and having been on the Boards of several private and public companies, including main Board positions at NBG and Hill Samuel Bank where he was Head of European Investment Banking. Pavlos is the Founder of NBGI, a London and New York based investment banking goup where he is President & CEO.
Pavlos is an Economics graduate and holds a masters degree in Applied Economics from Oxford University.
Mark Owen
Mark has considerable experience in both private equity and industry. He was a founder director of NBGI Private Equity in 2000 following six years with Granville Private Equity Managers. Prior to that he worked for five years with Schroders Corporate Finance running their private transactions team. He has also spent ten years in industry, in the US with Combustion Engineering, a diversified engineering and services group, and Champion International, a paper and building products manufacturer.
Mark graduated from Selwyn College, Cambridge and has an MBA from Wharton.
James Huckle
James is an Investment Director at NBGI Private Equity. He joined NBGI in April 2007. James has 10 years experience in financial services and fund management, of which he spent six years in private equity and real estate in Eastern Europe, with Invesco and Laxey Partners. He holds an MA in Geography from the University of Oxford.
James is also a qualified chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Omiros Millas
Omiros is an Investment Director in the SEE fund. He is also leading NBGI's proprietary deal flow origination effort across its buy-out funds and is responsible for co-investments and other business development activities.
Omiros joined NBGI's investment banking arm in 1998 and has been Head of Corporate Finance until 2009 when he assumed his current role in NBGI PE.
Omiros is a graduate of Economics and Social Policy from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Orestis Millas
Orestis is an Investment Director at NBGI Private Equity. Prior to joining NBGI Private Equity in July 2008, Orestis held senior positions at Citigroup and BNP Paribas where he originated, structured and closed more than EUR 7 billion in structured financings across a range of asset classes. In his last position at Citigroup Orestis was also involved in the risk management of a loan book of over EUR 2 billion.
Orestis is an Economics graduate with an MSc from the London School of Economics.
Yannis Voyatzis
Prior to joining NBGI Private Equity in December 2006, Yannis was a Vice President at Citigroup Venture Capital International in London, where he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing private equity transactions in Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. Before joining Citigroup in April 2000, Yannis worked as a Senior Consultant at Chemintel, a London based consulting firm specializing in the petrochemicals industry.
Yannis holds an MBA from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, France, and an MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Ventseslav Avramov
Ventseslav joined NBGI Private Equity in October 2008. Prior to that he was a senior consultant at Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services in Sofia where he gained exposure to multiple industries carrying out various projects including due diligence assignments, valuations, and lead buy-side and sell-side mandates. Additionally, he was an Account Officer in the Large Corporate Clients division of Eurobank EFG Bulgaria.
Ventseslav has a bachelor's degree from the American University in Bulgaria.
Valentin Cudric
Valentin joined NBGI Private Equity in November 2006. Previously, he was a Director with Romanian investment banking firm Capital SA (lately EFG Eurobank Finance) for eight years, being involved in investment management and corporate finance. He previously worked for two years with Charterhouse Bank, advising on M&A transactions. Valentin has seven years of industry experience with Ciprom, a construction company serving the oil & gas sector.
He holds an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bucharest Polytechic University and an MBA from University of Quebec.
Nick Higham
Nick joined NBGI Private Equity in October 2007, having qualified as a lawyer at Linklaters LLP. He worked on some high profile cross-border transactions in private equity, banking and mainstream corporate M&A advising on acquisitions of both private and public companies and advising investment banks and private equity houses on the legal aspects of the financing of such acquisitions.
Nick is a graduate in law from the University of Bristol.
Stelios Fragos
Stelios holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.
Thodoris Keramaris
Thodoris holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University as well as a BSc in Banking and Financial Management from University of Piraeus.
Antonis Koutsos
Antonis joined NBGI Private Equity in October 2007. Prior to joining, he worked for Kantor Management Consulting executing strategy and operations projects across a range of industries. Previously he was a project/industrial engineer at Colgate-Palmolive in Athens, specialising in performance improvement and investments appraisal.
Antonis is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from National Technical University of Athens, holds and an MSc from UMIST in Manufacturing Management and an MBA from Imperial College.
Theodoros Malfas
Theodoros joined NBGI Private Equity Limited in 2001. Prior to that he worked for Laiki Bank Group in Greece, UK and Cyprus for 7 years, having held account manager and senior equity analyst positions with the credit and investment banking divisions respectively. Previously, he worked as a private equity analyst with SFS.
Theodoros graduated from University of Athens (LL.B, corporate & commercial law concentration) and attended the Corporate Finance Executive Programme at London Business School.
Mrinal Oberoi
Mrinal joined NBGI Private Equity in July 2008. Prior to joining NBGI she worked at Lehman Brothers where, as part of the real estate investment banking team, she advised on public as well as private deals in the European real estate sector, including public offerings, M&A and private placements. Mrinal has six years of experience in the real estate industry - in European as well as emerging markets.
Mrinal has a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Mumbai, an MBA from the University of California - Irvine and an MSc. from London Business School.
Alex Tilson
Alex qualified as a chartered accountant in 2003 with KPMG, is a full member of the ICAEW, and holds an LLB(Hons) in English Law and French Law from the University of Kent.
Pablo Villanueva
Pablo joined NBGI Private Equity in May 2008. Previously he worked in Corporate Development at Doosan Babcock Energy and was Group Financial Controller at Thorn Lighting where he led their post-merger financial integration with Zumtobel AG. Prior to that he was an Associate in the industrials M&A team of HSBC Investment Bank and worked several years in the French automotive industry.
Pablo holds a Materials Science Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the London Business School. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant.
